Guatemala - Antigua -B: 2nd day- Sun : Visit of the Antigua city - The Spanish Colonial style permeates every part of the town: its houses, churches, squares, parks and ruins, also its traditions and folklore as well. Antigua is a city of charm and color where you can see and buy an overwhelming variety of attractive, handmade products that honor the traditions of generations of artisans the central park, the stone roads, the fountains, and its traveling merchants - Night at the hotel.

Panajachel - Chichicastenango - Totonicapan -B: 6th day-Thu: 7h15 Check out – Transfer to famous village of Chichi , situated at 2090 meters high. 9h Breakfast –In the morning, we will go to the market where Indians give a beautiful show with their colored clothes. In front of San Tomas church, we will be able to assist at some strange pagan rites. 15h will continue to Quetzaltenango department, which is the second city of Guatemala situated at 2300 meters high. We will visit the village of San Andres Xecul and here famous colored church. Night at the Totonicapan village, an old maya city.

Totonicapan - San Francisco - Guatemala City-B: 7th day-Fri : 7H Breakfast – Check out – Visit of the villages Zunil and Almolonga where an incredible market of vegetables take place due to a very fertile volcanic ground. Rio Dulce -Flores -B: 11th day-Tue : 7h Breakfast- 8h Transfer to Laguna el Paraiso where you will enjoy a bath in sulphur waters which are known for their medical properties. The pond is located in the middle of a tropical forest, surrounded by vegetation. If we have a time, visit of the Castillo San Felipe in a tropical framework, an old Spanish bastion which protected the entrance of the lake Izabal from the pirates and buccaneers –Lunch - Transfer to the Flores island in the department of Petén. Clothing Tips:
This is a casual tour. Casual wear is suggested for sightseeing and daytime traveling. Dress code for evenings is casual. Suit jackets for men and dresses for women are never required on the Guatemala tour. It is recommended to wear drip-dry clothing (such as that offered by Columbia, Ex: Officio and Travel smith) in the rainforest. Also, pants that zip at the knee to convert into shorts are very comfortable in the rainforest. According to itinerary, an hot jacket for the trek at the Pacaya volcano.

Can your tours be enjoyed by all age groups?
Usually, you find a mix of different age adult travelers on a Aventures Tropicales. Most tours will be joined by adults of all ages. Children age five (5) and over are welcome, and children usually join tours offered during Christmas holidays, summer vacation and spring break vacation.

How long will each day be?
Touring days begin and end at reasonable hours and include frequent stops. While the occasional early morning departure is necessary, we do our best to ensure a leisurely vacation and you will arrive at your hotels between 4:30 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. each day.

How large will my group be?
Group sizes will vary depending on the reserved rooms at the hotels and lodges and the capacity of the ships, trains, and motor coaches used. Usually, group sizes range from 4 to 12 passengers and more if is an special group.

Are meals included?
According to included your Package Style. Included meals for each tour are listed at the beginning of each day. Meals are shown by B (breakfast), L (lunch) and D (dinner). All continental breakfasts are included everywhere. Alcoholic beverages are not included unless specified.

What's included in the travel contract

Sightseeing and transfers by private motor coach as according to group size, ferry transportation as indicated by the individual itineraries. Museum's entrances are not included as noted in each itinerary. Breakfast in most cases is included and continental style. Coffee and tea are included for each meal included from Aventures Tropicales. Other meals are as specified in the individual itineraries. Beverages of any kind ( mineral water, tea, coffee, beer, wine, liquor )are not included with lunch and dinner. Baggage handling at airports and hotels is not included in the tour. However, Baggage is at the owner's risk throughout the tour. Check with your insurance agent about baggage insurance. Services of Tour leader and/or a local English speaking tour guide throughout the tour is included according your ¨Package Deal ¨. All tips to hotel and restaurant personnel, baggage porters are NOT included in the tour.

Aventures Tropicales reserves the right to alter the itinerary of any tour, as needed, if air schedule, surface transportation changes, hotels, craftsperson's schedule or other events beyond our control make alteration necessary.
